Moldova picked Geta Burlacu and her song “A Century of Love” for Eurovision. It’s got a real Burt Bacharach feel to it, which right off the bat gives me good vibes. I’m not entirely hepped up on Geta’s vocals, for reasons I can’t explain. I mean, she’s a good singer, but she doesn’t grab my attention as much as the song does. The whole performance here is cute, right down to the woman blowing soap bubbles at the start of the song. In general, I liked this one.
