Open Call Roundup, ESTONIA!!!

Estonia has announced its call for songs for Eesti Laul 2012, and it’s all very straightforward.  Where’s the fun in that? Estonian residents/citizens only, a new 3 minute song, be 16 years old at the time of the contest. No online posting — snail mail or deliveries only. The entry form is here. It commands you to USE CAPITAL LETTERS ONLY! Deadline is December 12, 2011.

One nice incentive: the winner gets a 2,000 Euro prize (in addition to bragging rights and getting to represent one of Europe’s best Eurovision countries).

Will Ithaka Maria try again in 2012? If so, will the jury warm to her?
Are hosts Ott and Märt ready for another go?
